Appointment highlights industry leadership and National Food Group’s commitment to advancing correctional foodservice
Novi, MI – National Food Group is proud to share that Krista Lipari, Sales Director of the company’s Corrections segment, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Association of Correctional Food Service Affiliates (ACFSA). Krista’s appointment officially took effect in January 2026.
Krista will serve as the Professional Partner Representative (Food), a two-year term role that acts as a key liaison between ACFSA’s Board of Directors and its Professional Partner members. In this position, she will gather industry feedback, support planning efforts for ACFSA’s Annual Conference and Vendor Showcase, and help encourage continued engagement and membership across the correctional foodservice industry. The role also serves as a spokesperson position, helping advance ACFSA’s mission through collaboration and shared problem-solving.

Prior to her appointment, Lipari had already established herself as a thought leader within both National Food Group and the correctional foodservice industry. She founded and leads a quarterly advisory panel that brings together experienced correctional operators to partner with National Food Group thought leaders. These collaborative sessions are designed to encourage insight sharing, challenge existing processes, and drive collective problem-solving around the most pressing issues facing correctional foodservice today. This work has helped foster meaningful dialogue and practical innovation, reinforcing Lipari’s reputation as a collaborative leader focused on moving the industry forward.
